Sustainability is not a new concept but it is new in concept to many people and organizations. With advancement in technology people have met eye to eye with the problems or drawbacks that this advancement brought with it. In becoming aware- mentally, socially, physically, economically, environmentally-Sustainability plays a major role. Sustainability is the new in because it covers almost all aspects of how the organizations should run and what positive impacts it will make
on the society as a whole. The reason some organizations have now started to consider CSR as a part of sustainability is purely because becoming sustainable is a large management model for making big strides towards a better future. The true essence of the word sustainability is in conserving environment from further damage but it has slowly and gradually encompassed many aspects even to speak of gender neutral work environment.
